This winter, Denver locals and visitors are invited to a one-of-a-kind alpine escape high above the city. The Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center is transforming its renowned Peaks Lounge into the “Winter Lodge at Peaks Lounge,” a cozy, alpine-inspired retreat on the 27th floor, overlooking the stunning Rocky Mountain skyline. From November 25, 2024, to January 26, 2025, this limited-time transformation brings the charm and warmth of a mountain lodge right into the heart of the Mile High City.
The Winter Lodge at Peaks Lounge will be decked out with alpine-inspired decor to transport guests to a winter wonderland. Faux fur, lanterns, and warm candlelight provide a cozy atmosphere, while unique photo opportunities, like a vintage ski lift chair and a gondola, capture the spirit of the mountains in style.
Seasonal Sips & Golden Hour Specials
The Winter Lodge features a thoughtfully crafted seasonal cocktail menu, with unique drinks like the Tequila Toddy, spiced with Don Julio Reposado, and Not Your Grandma’s Egg Nog, a twist on tradition featuring Captain Morgan and Hennessy. For those looking for non-alcoholic options, the Paper Plane, made with Lyre’s, offers a delightful sip.
Champagne fans can indulge in Veuve Clicquot during Golden Hour from 4 PM to 5 PM daily.
Comforting Winter Bites
Guests can enjoy seasonal gourmet dishes that bring together hearty winter flavors, from Cheese Fondue served with artisan bread and vegetable skewers to Snow Crab and Gruyere Spätzle—a rich and decadent mix of fresh seafood and Alpine cheese. Shareable plates include Swedish Meatballs and Fleischkuechle, a savory hand pie filled with beef, peas, and onions, complemented by sauerkraut and sour cream. For dessert, the Chocolate Fondue with assorted dippers provides a perfect sweet ending.
Private Events with a View
For holiday gatherings and special celebrations, Peaks Lounge offers a stunning space with sweeping views of Denver’s skyline and the Rocky Mountains. Whether it’s an intimate holiday party or a winter-themed event, Peaks Lounge’s private event options allow for a memorable night above the city lights.
