Rising Denver producer Mesophonic returns with his first original release of 2026, “Hellcat.” Inspired by his love of cars, speed, and high-intensity sound design, the track delivers a relentless, bass-heavy ride, blending aggressive dubstep drops with revving, engine-like textures.
The single marks a clear distinction in Mesophonic’s sound, showcasing a more confident and defined identity as he continues to push in the dubstep world. “Hellcat” leans fully into a high-performance, high-energy style that’s built for both headphones and live sets.
The release follows a breakout 2025 for the young artist, who first caught national attention when Shaquille O’Neal (DJ DIESEL) brought him onstage at Mission Ballroom. The moment came full circle later that year when Mesophonic returned as an official opener for Shaq the Halls, marking his debut performance at the iconic Denver venue.

At just 13 years old, the Fort Collins native is already building serious momentum, with support from artists like Kyral x Banko, G-Rex, and Mport. Between his rapidly evolving sound and growing presence in the bass scene, Mesophonic is positioning himself as one of the most exciting young artists to watch over the next few years. Carving out his own lane while still just getting started in the world of bass music.
