Aiden Morgan, known as DNMO, exploded onto the scene in 2016 with his hit remix of ‘Wonder’ by MOONZz encapsulated fans with his signature grungy post-punk era sound, all the while being 16 years old.
In 2018, both Soundcloud and Billboard Dance announced DNMO as an Artist to Watch which paved the way for his U.S. debut at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater supporting Zeds Dead with their collaboration ‘We Could Be Kings,’ making him the youngest electronic artist to perform there.

Aside from notable awards, DNMO’s upbeat remixes showed skill beyond his years and he caught the eye of major producers and artists eager to watch his career grow.
DNMO continues his rise today with highly praised releases on labels like Deadbeats and Monstercat. DNMO has surpassed over 100 million streams on Spotify alone, releasing records with Zeds Dead, Kill Paris, KRANE, and Sub Urban. Most recently he opened for Zeds Dead at Dead Rocks this past summer.
In his first trip back to Denver since the summer, it’s DNMO’s turn to headline. This time at Cervantes Other Side for SHIFT Thursdays. We recently sat down with DNMO in anticipation of his debut headline show at Cervantes & SHIFT Thursday.
Read on to learn more about DNMO and what’s in store this Thursday.
RB: When was the last time you played in Denver? Are you excited to be back?
DNMO: “The last time I played in Denver was last summer for Deadrocks which was so much fun. It’s one of my favorite places in the whole world, the crowds are always insane and the views are unbeatable. I love coming back every time! “
RB: What makes you excited about headlining this SHIFT?
DNMO: “I’m sure excited to be back headlining and to bring one of my favorite artists, friend, and collaborators Wolfy Lights (fka Akylla) with me to debut her brand new project! We’ve written a ton of music over the past year and will be playing a load of it together for the first time.”
RB: What can people expect from your show at Cervantes?
DNMO: “High-energy tunes, sing-along moments, new music, insane IDs and edits, and a whole lotta drum and bass.”
RB: You were recognized for your talent at a young age — what advice would you give to young producers looking to get their start?
DNMO: “I’d say just to have fun — make sure you have the right people around you and that they all have the right intentions. Focus on production and building your skills as a musician over just being a DJ, and have fun!”

RB: What inspires your music and production?
DNMO: “Inspiration really comes in so many different forms, I draw a lot from genres outside of dance music like jazz, soul, hip hop, Motown, and rock on a lot of this new music coming. A good melody/chord progression trumps all, in my opinion, and these are all genres that really thrive around melodic.”
RB: Anything else in the works you can share with us? Tours, new music, etc.?
DNMO: “I’ve got a ton of new music on the way that’s going to be dropping every month now. It’s some of my favorite music I’ve ever made and I really feel like it’s the most defined & dialed-in my sound has been so far. I’m pumped to be debuting a lot of it at Cervantes!”
