Hippie Sabotage closes tour with back-to-back Colorado shows

Known for their genre-blending sound and chill remixes, California-based electronic duo Hippie Sabotage are back out on tour in 2026. Kicking off the Give and Take Tour on March 19, they are hitting all the major cities across the nation. With huge shows in Seattle, Los Angeles, and Dallas in the books,  Colorado is set to be the final stop for the trap-influenced sounds of Jeff and Kevin Saurer. This time around, they are bringing the heat for two nights of unforgettable music and bringing along hip-hop heavyweight Danny Brown and up-and-comer Kember X.

Who is Kembe X?

Kembe X is an up-and-coming hip-hop artist from Chicago who has been making waves in the industry. With huge co-signs from stars like Ab-Soul and Kendrick Lamar, it is clear that Kembe X has something special. Hippie Sabotage and Kembe X have a long history of collaboration dating back to 2014 with the Alex Wiley-assisted “Takeoff.” Since then, the two artists have continued to collaborate frequently, with multiple songs together over the last 4 years. Including the recent single titled “Shallow,” which was released on the Top Dawg Entertainment YouTube Channel. While speculation has hinted that Kembe X signed to Top Dawg Entertainment in 2016, no official announcement has been made. However, the young artist is now releasing videos and singles on the official TDE YouTube channel, so the label connections are clearly strong.

Saturday, May 9 at Mishawaka Amphitheater

The first night of music will take place at the river getaway of Mishwake Ampitheater in Belvue, Colorado, on Saturday, May 9. Quickly becoming one of the most sought-after venues in all of Colorado. This will be the first time that Hippie Sabotage plays at the Mishawaka, and the excitement is overflowing. This one sold out early and will feature Kembe X as the only support.

Sunday, May 10 at Red Rocks Ampitheater

The second night of the Colorado run of shows will take place at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater on Sunday, May 10. A unique Mother’s Day date that will include Kembe X and a special performance from Danny Brown. The duo has not played at Red Rocks since 2024, and the excitement is palpable. Brown is celebrating the release of his 2025 album, Stardust, and is coming off a sold-out Denver show at the Ogden Theater last fall. While Brown and Hippie Sabotage have not officially collaborated, hip-hop influence has remained present in the Sauer brothers’ music. There are still tickets left for this one, so don’t miss out on this epic show.
