In anticipation of our June 22 event, we are debuting a brand new mix from ToneVizion, who is headlining The Other Side. ToneVizion is from Brownsburg, Indiana, and possesses remarkable talent. His style seamlessly blends melodic bass with cinematic soundscapes, offering listeners an immersive sonic journey. ToneVizion gave us some insight into the Original Mix. River Beats: What serves as the inspiration behind your mix and your overall sound?
ToneVizion: My inspiration lies in constructing sonic worlds that convey narratives through sound. The mix consists entirely of my original work, with each track telling its own story. When performing live sets, I aim to take the listeners on a journey through the realm of my sound.
River Beats: How excited are you to play at SHIFT on Thursday? Is this your debut at SHIFT?
ToneVizion: I am incredibly excited! It has been a while since I last performed in Denver, back in 2019, so returning and having the opportunity to play at SHIFT feels like a major milestone on my journey. I can’t express enough how ready I am for this experience!
River Beats: What other plans do you have in store? Are there upcoming shows or significant releases on the horizon for ToneVizion in 2023?
ToneVizion: Following SHIFT, my next show is in Stuart, Florida, where I will be headlining a performance under my side project called Side.Project. This project is a duo collaboration between myself and a solo violinist. The mix I have prepared includes music from both of my projects, giving listeners a taste of what’s to come.
