SHIFT is back with another all-star lineup for our signature Thursday shows at Cervantes. Get your tickets to the shows here.
We’re kicking off a packed month of SHIFT shows with the Since JulEYE live band on March 9 on the Other Side. The funky Denver-based band is comprised of DJ, producer, and bassist Lev Averbakh, keyboardist Todd Stoops, and Colby Buckler (Emancipator, Manic Focus) on the drums. Come celebrate the release of their new album, The Dawn of Since. This special set will be accompanied by Microdose VR visuals via Lightbrush and Sporeganic with Spirit Bear, Underlux, and Mr. Bugatti opening things up.
On March 16th, we welcome experimental bass mastermind MeSo back to the SHIFT stage in the main ballroom! The Chicago-based producer last wowed our audience in September 2022 and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the stage this month. Spicy Bois collaborators Tron3x, Jeffufu, and Devowr will open.
While MeSo blows our minds in the main ballroom, multi-instrumentalist Aaron Holstein returns to the SHIFT stage under his VibeSquaD alias on the Other Side! Holstein will have just played SHIFT as part of the improvisational band Zilla a few weeks prior. The talented musician will be supported by Patches., Subb Spaced, and Nyquist.
On March 23, LoFi artist Kirby Bright stops by the Other Side for SHIFT on his “You’re Doing a Good Job” tour. The South Carolina native is known for his chilled-out original tunes and LoFi flips including “Scary Monsters and LoFi Sprites” and, most recently, a Rumble rework aptly titled “Chillers in the Jungle.” The supporting cast includes Sera Tonin featuring 37 Frets, Slomato, Braxx B2B Dapolitiks, Muted Diagram B2B Sweet Spot, and special B2Bs among the Subciety Crew.
Last but certainly not least, one of River Beats’ 2023 artists to watch, Chmura, will join us on March 30 in the main ballroom. The young artist has already generated plenty of buzz among the experimental bass community for a number of quality releases that show talent beyond his years. We’re looking forward to catching his SHIFT set and watching his career continue to rise. Danny Grooves, Cloud-D, and Phurn will be here to support.
