Denver murals have become something the city is known far and wide for. Mural hunting in Denver has become a favorite pastime of locals and tourists alike. Constantly, new murals are popping up all over the city. Crush the Walls, Denver’s outdoor street art festival, is to thank for bringing many talented artists to beautify our city.

Recently, Denver muralists and street artists have used their platform in response to the Black Lives Matter movement. These murals both celebrate the life of black prominent figures and raise awareness of the injustices of black citizens such as George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Elijah Mcclain, and more.
