This month’s SHIFT shows feature four different flavors of sound, suited to every bass-lover’s needs.
Our first SHIFT show of September (9/7) features a takeover from artists a part of the Bay Area-bass label, Wormhole Music Group. Label curator and founder Secret Recipe will take us through a mind-bending sonic journey with fellow labelmates LabRat, hobi, and Dream Pusha there to support on The Other Side.
Next up, up-and-coming artist AUSTERIA will bring her signature dark and heavy bass sound to The Other Side on September 14. The Maryland-based producer has enjoyed a steady rise to stardom recently supporting artists like Subtronics and Boogie T on tour. Ujuu, SVMMIE, L3THO, and iAM_Jacko will be there to support.
On September 21, we’ll be treated to the genre-bending, experimental sounds of Spoonbill. The Australian producer is starting his first US tour in three years at Infrasound on 9/16 followed by the special headlining show at Cervantes for SHIFT on 9/21. Malakai, Arcturus, Phurn, and Lxsh will open.
Finally, we’re closing out the month with a massive double-headliner from two pioneers in psychedelic bass music – Mindex and Symbolico. On September 28, in the main ballroom, we will dive into a psy-focused night that will surely be one to remember. Collective Conscious will open before a special B2B set from EOS and Humandala.
