TATE SEDAR Drops New Remix of Disco Line’s “Cutting Loose” [Listen]

TATE SEDAR is set to release his latest remix, “Cutting Loose (TATE SEDAR Remix).” The track is a remix of Disco Lines, J. Worra, and Anabel Englund. Remix provides some fresh fun as we enter the summer season.

The story behind the remix traces back to a chance encounter between TATE SEDAR and Disco Lines at Academy LA in 2021. Although fate pulled TATE away from Disco Lines’s opening set that night, their paths would cross again at EDC Las Vegas 2023. These encounters would change the future of Tate’s inspiration moving forward. Inspired by the energy of the festival and the undeniable beat of “Cutting Loose” by Disco Lines, J. Worra, and Anabel Englund, TATE embarked on a mission to remix the track.

While we can describe the remix as a fusion of bittersweet acoustic pop and cutting-edge techno, TATE’s remix is a testament to his versatility as an artist.

With smooth guitar inclusions and trendy basslines, the remix seamlessly blends elements of the past with the future, creating a sound that is both familiar and forward-thinking. In TATE SEDAR’s own words, the remix represents a nod to the “post-EDM” era—a progressive movement in electronic dance music that draws inspiration from the sounds of the past while embracing new sonic landscapes. By infusing his remix with elements of both nostalgia and innovation, TATE has crafted a track that is sure to captivate listeners on and off the dancefloor.

But TATE SEDAR’s journey extends far beyond this latest remix.

With notable achievements including performances at the Insomniac Discovery Project: EDC Virtual Rave-a-Thon and collaborations with industry heavyweights like Dada Life and Don Diablo, TATE has firmly established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the electronic music scene.

His commitment to infusing electronic music with deeper meaning is evident in his remix of “Hero” by Empire’s Terrell Carter, which highlights themes of civil rights, and his edit & video of Justin Bieber’s “Hold On”, which supported victims of the Russo-Ukrainian war through a paired fundraiser.

As TATE SEDAR continues to push the boundaries of electronic music, his latest remix serves as a reminder of the transformative power of music to unite and inspire. With each note he crafts, TATE reaffirms his status as a pioneer on the post-EDM horizon, bridging the gap between the past and the future with his innovative soundscapes.
